Contemporary ballet is a form of dance which incorporates elements of both classical ballet and modern dance. It takes its technique and use of pointework from classical ballet, although it permits a greater range of movement that may not adhere to the strict body lines set by schools of ballet technique. Many of its concepts come from the ideas and innovations of 20th century modern dance, including floor work, balletic movements and turn-in of the legs.
Freestyle dance is an artistic dance style which takes int20o account modern trends and modern music allowing the individual dancer freedom to express themselves through movement, as the name suggests it can take on many different forms and one freestyle piece can look and sound very different from the next.

Tap dancing is a fun style of dance that anyone can learn, regardless of previous dance experience. Tap dancing is beneficial in many ways. Benefits of tap dance include increasing cardiovascular conditioning, strength, flexibility and coordination. Tap dancing also develops a great sense of rhythm and timing and helps students focus on music awareness.
This workshop style class covers all aspects of life on the stage. With numbers from the blockbusting shows of Broadway, students learn the vocal and movement aspects of Musical Theatre. Students are also given the opportunity to explore their own creativity in improvisation with and without the help of props creating short scenes using their combined imaginations. Students are encouraged to think about the staging aspects of performing such as sound, lighting, directing and costume. Vocal warm up and cool downs, scales and songs from lyrical to upbeat pop, exercises and fun games to encourage the student to speak or sing with confidence.

Street dance is also commonly used specifically for the hip hop and funk dance styles, including break-dance, popping, locking, hip hop new style, house dance and electro dance.

Ballroom dancing is where dancers move to the music using step-patterns and rhythms that match the character of a given song. This is generally a couples dance. The main type of ballroom dance is referred to as the Smooth/Ballroom style of dance which are flowing dances that move around the entire dance floor in a counter-clockwise fashion. The couple is constantly moving on the dance floor, smoothly transitioning from pattern to pattern. Examples are Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango and Quickstep.
